AA3RG Net Preamble
QST QST QST Calling all amateurs to the Appalachian Amateur Radio group information net.
This net meets Sunday evenings at 8:00 PM. local time, on this repeater, 146.04 MHz input and 146.64 MHz output, PL tone 82.5 Hz.
You don't have to be a member of this group to check in. All licensed operators are invited to participate.
This is a DIRECTED NET at the direction of "Net Control". This is (insert net control station call sign). My name is (insert first name). AARG holds monthly meetings on the third Thursday of each month, at Heisey's Diner on Route 72 north of Lebanon at 6:30 PM. We also meet for breakfast at Esther’s Restaurant on Route 22 east of Fredericksburg on the second Saturday of each month at 7:00 AM.
For assistance enroute, call for talk in directions for the event that you are attending. AA3RG also hosts International Animal House Net daily at 7 PM and the Aurora Net on Friday evening at 8 PM.
For all of you Out of Towners AA3RG hosts the Allstar Node of 542680 and the Echolink Node of 149493 on the 146.64 repeater.
Last but not least we have started a Mox Nix Net after this Information Net, about 8:30PM, on the Club’s 145.17 repeater.
